In fact maganda ang poster and syempre yun pong layunin ng contest.

Thanks Tony malinaw na sa akin Smile

God bless Inang Cia and Amang Tom

Nice poster mang Tom. My only comment is that it's rather ambiguous. To an uninformed eye, it would seem that there is an Altamero-Afurong High School and that there will be a math contest in the same school. It would have been better if the sentence break happened after the Altemero-Afurong, thus

The first Altamero-Afurong
Math Contest for High School Students

or

The first Altamero-Afurong
High School Math Contest

Did I make sense? Very Happy
Just thinking out loud. Sorry, free time.

cheers!

Ross,

We have initiated this math contest to develop and instill a deeper awareness and interest of our young people in math. As we know, to be competitive in this age of information technology, one has to have a solid background in math.

Eventually, we hope to form a group of math-oriented students.

With best wishes.

Hi Amang Tom,

Maybe you're right because it helps me a lot in my field, programming. Also, Mathematics is my favorite subject.

Amang Tom,

Last week I had the chance to talk with Cris, the artist who did the MATH CONTEST posters. He got interested in the contest because he has a daughter who is good in Math but goes to Balian National High School.

My eledest son Ralf, belongs to the Special Science Curriculum Class in PGMNHS in Sta. Cruz. Last year he graduated with top honors from Immaculate Conception Catholic School-Don Bosco in Sta. Cruz. He also excels in Math. I have the same sentiments as Cris. We hope children of Paetenians studying in schools outside of Paete(all levels), both public and private, also be given the opportunity to join in this type of competition. My son has competed and has won in General Info and Araling Panlipunan Quizbees since his elem years. I would like to encourage him to join math competitions to prove his mettle in this field.

I know many of our kababayans studying in Liceo de Pakil, Balian National High School,San Juan National High School(Kalayaan), Little Shepherd Montessori School and St. Vincent De Paul Science High School (Lumban), PGMNHS, Don Bosco High School (Sta. Cruz)UP Rural High School(Los Bańos), are performing very well in these schools.

How can my children join the Math Club? Will it be open to elementary pupils, too? My three elementary kids are doing well in math too.

How can I become a Math volunteer?

Maraming salamat po sa inilalaan ninyong "time, talent and treasure" sa proyektong ito. May your tribe increase!

HI,

I like the quote in your signature " It is better to be a minor member of a good group, than a prominent leader of a bad group. "

BTW, I'm very happy that there's a group that focused on Mathematics..I hope your group will grow. Smile
