He/she could also have said it better.

But apologies.

No, I am not angry. He/she said I should give him/her a break when he/she can do that him- herself without asking me. I am not here to please him/her so I don't understand why is he/she complaining? If he/she needs to relax and my posts are annoying him/her, he/she can simply choose to ignore my posts. As simple as that. My words may come out not the way it was intended to be, specially because I seem to always be on the "opposite" side of things that most people in this forum wanted to hear.

And saying "bakit kaya di kayo kumandidato...magamit ang talino ninyo sa paglilingkod". What does he/she mean by that?

PostPosted: Sat May 26, 2007 8:56 am    Post subject: CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU!!!

I believe that God has allowed you to be put into position for the advancement and improvement of our town. More people are praying for you...

And may I suggest to those people whose making it hard for them to accept the result, to please stay back and just pray for our town. Your thought will not help even yourself and so think of something that will benifit you and our hometown. And the best is to be a peacemaker...

Romans 13:1-3

13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.

God Bless you!!!

A little bit of Paete history should tell you that it's not really without precedent that an election result had been perceived by people to have been affected by brownouts. What I was after is that people seem to have accepted that during elections, a power outage is a necessary part of the exercise in counting ballots, that's why they have flashlights. As for the breakers, I am sure that can be answered quite unequivocally by a qualified electrician. In fact, that can even be tested, to prove that it's the cause.

Your question is irrelevant. But if you really want to know the answer, my answer is NO. Hindi ako handang sumoporta sa lahat ng posting dito - lalo na kung ito ay para sa ating bayan. I have a mind of my own. If I think something is wrong even if it's supposed to be for our town, I'd be your loyal opposition. But if I think it's good I don't just give moral support, because as you said, moral support ay wala namang bayad. I put my money where my mouth is.

I was in Ibaba and in the upper palenke during the ballot counting and in one instance, the brownout hit only the upper palenke while in the heat of counting the ballots. After sometime, Ibaba had the power restored but the upper palenke continued to have no power for some time. It's totally irrational. It makes one think that it can only be explained as a purely deliberate action by somebody playing tricks on our townfolks as it happened a couple of times. I am not saying it's this or that camp. It could very well be just a prank but I am not sure if any effort has been made to find out why power was lost only in the upper palenke during the crucial moment of ballot counting. I have never seen anything like it before.

Just wondering.
