PostPosted: Mon Apr 17, 2006 9:42 am    Post subject: Photo Upload Webinar - Part 2

Gawa ng maya't maya ay mayroon pa ring nagpapaturo sa akin na mag-post ng picture sa USAP PAETE na napakahirap i-explain via email, I will host a second WEBINAR about this topic on MAY 6, 2006 from 10 PM to 12 midnight (Eastern Standard Time). Para sa mga nasa Pilipinas, that will be Sunday (May 7) from 10 AM to 12 noon. Doon sa mga nasa West Coast naman ng Amerika ay di bale Saturday (may 6) from 7 PM to 9 PM.

All that you need to join is an internet connection and your internet browser. No special software is needed. I will be using my GotoMeeting account. You will see my desktop and what I am doing. I will email you the full webinar instructions a week before the Webinar so you can test it out prior to the Webinar.

I will follow the same agenda as the Part 1 seminar, ie:

Part 1

1. How to resize your photos using Windows XP's Paint Program. It is important that you resize your photo first before you share it on the web.

Part 2

1. How to upload your photos to a free website at Yahoo Geocities and Photobucket.

2. How to share those photos at USAP PAETE.

Part 3 (If time permits)
1. Helping you set-up your account at YahooGeocities or PhotoBucket.

My GotoMeetinga account can only accept ten participants. So this will be on a first come first served basis. If you are interested, please reply to this post with your email address or send me a private email at: rcarolino@paete.org

Thanks,

Rey

Ok lamang, Fred. Kumusta na kayo? Makakarating ang pangungumusta mo kina Kaka at Ina.

Gusto ko ngang matuto, mapapadalhan mo kaya ako ng instructions, baka sakaling masundan ko ay mas mabuti.

Sige, warm regards na lamang kina Cora and the rest of your family.

Dear Syanos,
I don't know if you know me or any of my family members. I am Tita Emma(or might have been a "lola" already, but I'd rather you address me as Tita?) and I'm very interested to learn this technique. We're going in April to spend Holy Week there at home and I wonder if I can visit you one time and see how you go about posting photos.
I'm also interested in your personalized items, so really keen on visiting your shop.
Thank you and looking forward to see you.

Tito Fred, been a while since I've logged in & I just saw this mural of my Dada Tere. Do you know who painted it? I'm sure my mom hasn't seen it yet or Ka Rogel either. They'd love to see it. It's been 8 yrs since i've gone back, but my parents are 'snow birds'. I'll make sure they take a look at it when they're back there. Regards----Juliet

Mahirap talaga if you are using Windows XP's Paint Program... Bili ka na lang nang drawing program with the ability to resize the image in pixels propotionately (like Corel's Paint Shop Pro.)

Rey,

Medyo natagalan akong mag resize dahil instead of STRETCH and SKEW ay STRETCH and SCREW pala ang napuntahan ko LOL. I screwed it up a few times doon sa percentage. Proportionate na naman yata ngayon.

I saved the old picture just in case I want to revert to the previous photo.

Thanks for the transcript. I was able to review my professor's lecture.

Some paintings displayed at Kape Kesada
during the Balik Paete 2004

On our way home from the Welcome/Arrival Registration activity scheduled
that day, 26th of December 2004, we stumbled upon this gem of a place
called "Kape Kesada" that showcase the work of Paete's young artists.
It was the Grand Opening for the gallery just in time for the Balik Paete
2004 celebration. We looked at every piece of art in the gallery and inquired
about the artists. It was very hard to leave the place. There was even art
painted on the walls of the "restroom".

Here are a few pictures we took of the young artists works:

The artist (OTEP) holding his painting. The closeup shot shows great details,
the piece I believe is titled "JEEPNEY". Like Opel said, very impressive choice
of theme, color scheme and even a touch of humor.

Painting by: Dominic Rubio
Inspired by places that Dominic had seen during his
many travels especially the southern island of the
Philippines & notice that he mixed it up with the
Paete scenery.

Painting by: Julie Agbada Pandalag
The woman in the painting is Julie's "biyenan" as she
remember her making "suman". This painting found a
home in Amang Tom & Inang Cia Altamero's residence.
(Na-confirm ko na sa Amang Tom na kanila itong painting
at saka hindi pala "lola" kundi "biyenan" ang naging modelo)

PostPosted: Thu Oct 20, 2005 1:41 am    Post subject: another golden tip

Yes indeed more than 36 pictures at one time might be heavy for some. I did not think about that since it looks so easy when I view dadaLudy's pictures for example.

OK a.

Salamat
