Take a moment to reflect "The Meaning(s) of Easter".

The Central Theme
First and foremost, Easter is a religious holiday. No amount of Political Correctness or Secularism can change that. It is about a Loving God providing a Way of Salvation to sinful men. A Way provided through Ultimate Sacrifice, though He knew most would say "No". Wow! And spiritual salvation matters. No other single Person or Event has more radically changed the course of Human History. And it will continue to do so as long as there is a Human History.
And the changes in individual lives are just as radical as the broad, historical impact. In fact, they are the source of the broad, historical impact.
But beyond the spiritual, Easter holds other important lessons for you...

Beyond the Spiritual
Beyond the central spiritual theme of Easter lie other important truths. Here's a few:
No matter how dark today is, redemption and victory are close by.-It doesn't get any darker than the Crucifixion or any brighter than the Resurrection-only 3 days apart
Courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to stay true to your purpose in spite of it-Jesus in the Garden is a poignant portrait of a Man correctly dealing with fear
Commitment to the prize is not enough - commitment to the process is what brings success. Everybody wants to be a millionaire. Almost no one is willing to make the changes necessary to become one. (C'mon-'fess up!)
A committed and courageous person can, and will, rewrite history
Keep your eye on the prize, regardless (people are fickle)-He was welcomed as a King, condemned as a criminal, and rolled back the stone, all in a matter of days. That's keeping your eye on the prize! And that's faith!
What I'm trying to say is that no matter what your circumstance, you have a purpose and the God-given ability to achieve it. That is the lesson of Easter. Pay close attention to the spiritual and to the other lessons of Easter. They will serve you well.
