In today's world of shifting values it would be well to turn to the pages of the holy scriptures for counsel and reminder.

Proverbs 1:5-8

“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels . . . The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother.”

QUOTE OF THE DAY - Ezra Taft Benson

“Parents, stay close to your children; you cannot delegate your responsibility to the educators no matter how competent they may be. Parents have a duty to train their children, to talk over their problems with them, to discuss what they are learning in school. And it is neither wise nor safe to leave the determination of our educational system and policies exclusively to the professional educators” (God, Family, Country, p. 238-239).
