The street dancers from San Pablo doing a repeat performance of their winning dance. They were the grand prize winner for last year competition.

Heto ang ilang pictures;

Hi KP,

Inukit sila sa styrofoam then hinilbanahan or binalutan ng brown paper at saka pinintahan ng water based paints.

Thanks and regards,
Mutuk

Hi Arjhay,

Congratulations sa lahat ng mga achievements nyo. I would also want to affirm that what you're doing will benefit the whole of Paetenians community as a whole..."nasa inyong kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan," just like what our national hero said.

Keep up the good work!

Give my love to Dada, Ama & Nanay, your Titos & Titas and the rest of our family.

God bless,
Tita Am

vice mutuk,

i was also happy to see mr vito from pakil. he is a relative of my mother. i remember nag drop kami noon ng spanish 4 sa feu when were in college at nag summer kami sa eastern [with edith casilag and jet caguin] mr. vito was our teacher then pero hindi spanish 4 ang aming naging lesson kundi puro kwentuhan. nung bigayan ng classcard, grades namin puro uno!

congratulations to all the awardees. congratulations din sa PEQMNHS students and teachers, also to the parents na tumulong din sa costumes, and also to the choreographer.

mabuhay kayong lahat!

#9: Kahanga-hangang mga kababayan! Author: odettesLocation: Odette Fadul Sunga PostPosted: Thu Mar 09, 2006 10:42 am

Tunay nga pong kahanga-hanga ang ating mga kababayan hindi lamang sa larangan ng pag-uukit kundi maging sa iba pang sangay ng kultura at sining- painting, literature, performing arts and even music.
I'm overwhelmed to see my 2 classmates in elementary as awardees. Lino Dalay is my second cousin, a dear classmate for 4 years in PES and a true friend. Terry Cagayat-Bagalso was also my close friend during our elem years. Hurray for PES Batch '72! We're indeed very proud of you! Hats off kami sa accomplishments ninyo mga klasmeyt. Surely, Inang Marta Dalay and the Cagayat-Bagalso clans are very happy with the special recognition you received yesterday. I know you have received national awards as well.
The Baldemors did it again!
Vice Mutuk, thanks for posting the pictures. Sayang nga lamang at hindi man lamang ako nakasilip sa Anilag festivities. You know the reason why. You have every reason to delegate your responsibility at the SB. May mas mahalaga palang session na iyong inasikaso sa Sta. Cruz. We owe it to PAETEM.
Classmate Vero (PES Batch '72 pa rin), you're also doing great in your chosen field.
I hope to see more pictures here on Anilag Festival. BITIN! I've seen the booth of Paete on MUP with Winnie Cordero and Mr. Guidote. Wala bang nag-demo ng ice carving and fruit and vegetable carving/garnishing?
Kudos to the PEQMNHS streetdancers for making it to the top 5! Despite the odds and limited budget naipanalo nyo pa rin at nabigyang karangalan ang ating bayan. Hope RJ could post more pictures here of our streetdancers.

To Vice Mayor Mutuk, Mhey Bagalso & Mayor Cadayona,

Thank you for posting the pictures of the Anilag Festival and the repeat performance at the plaza. Congratulations to PEQMNHS dancers & choreographers (4th place), and to PAETEM (2nd Place) for the colorful booth. And also to the various Paetenian (and Pakil) awardees. Danilo Dalena of Pakil was my contemporary in UST and he was then the artist of the UST Varsitarian, the university's official organ.

Nice photos, Vice and Mayor, thank you. The beautiful costume of the dancers blended well with the new and modern facade of the Aglipay (IFI) church which I just noticed now. Even the building next to the Munisipyo (internet cafe?) seemed to be refurbished and looks nice.

Thank you Mhey for the write up about the event (see other posting).

Mabuhay ang Paete!
