Leonor, now a retiree praises the Lord for the 75 years of single blessedness. She remembers her early years when she rides calesa along with her mother, Raymunda, in heavily flooded provincial roads to render service in Paete and distant towns.

To her nephews and nieces: Yolly, Estella, Emil, Sonia, Noel, Sonny, Jessie, Raul, Marina, Celia, Tetet, and Arcel, she wishes to pass on what she learned from her parents: Honesty, hard work, value of time, orderliness and the holy fear of the lord.
