TOLP

(Ten Outstanding Living Paetenians)

By Danny Sulit, NY

In welcoming the new millennium, the Paetenians International, Northeast Chapter will hold the New Millennium Gala Ball in July 2000, that hopefully will usher in the association into the next millenium. You as members of the Paetenians International, will select Ten Outstanding Living Paetenians. This endeavor goes beyond the confines of the United States, Canada and Paete. It encompasses Paetenians all over the world.

Here are the requirements:

To be eligible to present candidates, one must be a subscriber to the Paetenians International Newsletter. This entitles the subscriber to six issues and participation in the selection of our TOLP! This will be an opportune time to encourage your relatives and friends to subscribe to the newsletter and to take part in the selection process.

You can present candidates by mailing in the names of three people to the address (*) given below. You may also add a few lines stating the rationale behind your choices. NB: Only the subscriber of the household can present candidates. And s/he can only enter once unless there are more than one subscriber in the family. Please enclose your name and return address. This will enable the selection committee to keep track of the entries.

Should you miss the first issue of the Paetenians International Newsletter, you will have five more chances to send in your selections. The selection process will continue throughout 1999. The TOLP will be announced in January 2000. You will have plenty of time to make arrangements so you, your relatives and friends could share in the presentation of the TOLP at the New Millennium Gala Ball in July, 2000.
